Carol singers tour the village and raise £310 for Motor Neurone disease.

Thanks to the effort of the village carol singers of all ages as can be seen from the photo, and the generosity of villagers and visitors to the Six Bells  this significant sum was raised for this worthy cause.

Two other memorable moments occurred with some of the junior singers noticing that Santa was having a night off and enjoying a meal at the Bells! Sworn to secrecy, in case of a rush of children from far and wide Santa explained his elves were very busy and he was having a restful evening. As can be seen from the photo he allowed them to check that his beard is real and even agreed for his photo to be taken in his mufti.

Besides that amazing coincidence one of the diners at the pub was celebrating her 70th birthday and asked for a special carol that the singers readily agreed to perform with her help. She has promised to keep an eye on the website and come down again from north Wales to have a repeat performance next year.
